.. LONDON, April 22. The Boers in the Western part of Cape Colony surrounded and attacked Ookiep, a small town near Springbokfcmtein, in Little Namaqua-land, about 60 miles from the sea. The attack was unsuccessful. British reinforcements arrived and relieved the garrison.
