FOOTBALL ACCOMMODATION.

(To the Editor.)

Sir, — Now that the good old football season has commenced, may I suggest to the Auckland Rugby Union through the medium of your valuable paper, that they, with comparatively small expense,' might carry out the plan instigated a few seasons back, I mean that of providing sitting accommodation for the poorer class "viewing the various matches played'on No. 1 ground. The season before last the Union had a seat built from, one end of the field to the other, opposite the grandstand, and if they do the same this year • the Auckland public will be very grate' ful,—l am, etc.,

"NEWTON BARRACKER."
