In all seasons WOLFE'S SCHNAPPS is an invaluable tonic. Quezaltenango and Amatitlan, the scene of the terrible earthquake reported by cable on Page 5, are important towns in the interior of the Republic of Guatemala. The former ranks next to the capital of the republic; it has (or had) fine streets and well-built houses and a large and imposing church with a richly decorated front, and other substantial buildings. An extensive trafle is carried on here in woollen and cotton fabrics, wheat, cacao, sugar, etc. The population of Quezaltenango was estimated some years ago at about 20,000, and that of Amatitlan (about 50 miies away) at eooo.. .
