Public notice is hereby jfiyen that at the Ordinary Meeting of the Auckland City Council, to be held in the Council Chamber, Coburg-s.t, on THURSDAY the 15th day of May; 1902, a Resolution will be submitted for the confirmation of the following resolution passed by the said Council at a Special Meeting on the 17th day of April, 1952, and intended to operate as a "Special Order," viz., '•■Whereas by 'The Auckland City Borrowing Act, 1899,' the Auckland City Council was authorised to raise by way of Loan the sum (inter' alia} of thirty thousand pounds for the re-payment of the then existing overdraft at the National Bank of New Zealand, Limited, and whereas the sum actually required for such purpose was twenty five thousand five hundred and thirty nine pounds nine shillings and two pence, and the said Council is desirous of applying tbe surplus of four thousand four hundred and sixty pounds ten shillings and ten pence to the special purpose of constructing drainage works within the City of Auckland," under the authority of Section 162 of The Municipal.
