The Privy Council appeal cases, the Mayor of Wellington versus Johnson and versiis Lloyd, have been dismissed with costs.
[These cases, brought by the Wellington City Corporation, wer*1 connected f^th the' taking of land at the foot of Willisstireet. In the original case at Welllngton, through an oversight In the City Council office, notice of objection to the owner's claim for compensation was not made in time, and judgment went for the full amount ]
