The new schooner-yacht Meteor, built in America lately for the German Kaiser, has arrived at Southampton, after a perilous voyage across the .Atlantic.

Her decks were under water for fourteen days.

[The German Emperor's new yacht, Meteor 111., is described as a magnificently finished vessel. She is built entirely of steel, and is Tigged as a fore-and-aft schooner. She has a sail area of 11,612 square feet, and measures 161 ft overaalT (120 ft long on the water-line), with a beam of 27ft and a depth of ISft ffln. The yacht was christened at her launching at New York by Miss Roosevelt.]
