An inter-club match, Ponsonby v, Mt Albert, was played on the former club's green on Saturday, the following being the result:—

Mount Albert—James, Parley, Priestley, Haselden (Skip) 9, v. Ponsonby—Robinson, Mitchell, Montague, Newell (skip) 38. Mount Albert—Barker, Wilson, Harrison, .A.shton (skip) 23, v. Ponsonby—Peacock, Arneil, Becroft, Veale (skip) 22. Mount Albert—Garlick, Wheeler, Coyle, Bouskill (skip), 8 v. Ponsonby—Gorman, Swales, • Watson, Hurndall (skip) 37.

Totals: Mount Albert, 40; Ponsonby, 97; majority for Ponsonby, 57.

The final for first year's players' match resulted in a win for G. B. Osmond—G. B. Osmond 20; V. R. Veale, 19.

In the third round of the club pairs, Buchanan beat Sutherland—J. Coutts and J. Buchanan 16, v. J. C. Robinson and A. Sutherland 11. In the fourth round Buchan beat Webb and Littler beat Becroft— W. Jones and J. Becroft 15, v. Captain Duder and A. Littler 25; J. Coutts and J. Buchanan 21, v. J. J. Payne and G. Webb 7.

The remaining matches in the fourth round of the McLean pairs were also played: M. Casey and A. N. Snedden 10,. v. H. Cooke and R. Ballantyne 16; J. Pascoe and Jos. Becroft S, v. J. J. Payne and G. Easton 22.
