The Guild had a very successful sale of work in October and out of the proceeds provided funds for the painting- of the Vicarage, the payment of interest, and the instalments due on the piano and the incandescent lighting of the church. The report also referred to the appointment oC the Rev. C. A. Tlsdall as curate of the parish, and to the urgent need for adaitional teachers at the main Sunday school in the Parish Hall. Reference was also made to the deaths of Mrs Eliza Murdoch, an old parishioner, Mr Graham Bruce, late Principal of King's College, and Mr J. B. Bull. The balance sheet showed that the total receipts for general purposes had been £7SG 7/4, and the expenditure, including £20 12/11 overdraft at Bank of New South Wales, on April Ist, 1901, has been £836 12A, leaving a debit balance of £00 5/3. There had been a falling off in the general collections of £21 18/11, and a gratifying increase in the special collections, which had this year amounted to £80 10/9.
T.he election of officers resulted as follows:—Minister's Warden, Mr J. H. M. Carpenter; Parishioners' Warden Mr Frank Senderson; Vestry, Messrs C. Ranson, S. Hesketh, R. K. Baber, R Bodle, Alex. Rose. W. Cochrane, G, O'Halloran, jun., S. Lv Abbott, R." Lusher and S. Prouse; Auditors, Messr.^ A. B. Roberton and H. Kinder. Mr Ranson was granted leave of absence for six months.
