TROUBLE IN JAMAICA.
LONDON, April 8
The increase of taxation in Jamaica is causing trouble. The arrest of a citizen provoked riots at Montego. Reinforcements of anaed police were sent and a civilian was killed and several wounded. Three police officers and sixteen of tlie force were wounded, one being disembowelled. The cruiser Tribute has been sent ;to the bay.
