The Rev. A. Mitchell, who has accepted a call to Balelutiha, left Coramandel yesterday morning, and arrived at Auckland last evening. He leaves for tlhe South to-morrow by the s.s. Rotoiti, and will deliver a lecture on Friday evening at Hawera. Lasit Sunday Mr Mitchell preached farewell services,- and large congregations attended both morning and evening to hear*him sing- and speak for the last time in Coromandel. Prior to his departure he was presented with an illuminated address and set of'carvers from the congregation, a handsome biscuit barrel from the choir, and a number of presents from private persons. While in Coromandel Ma- Mitchell was always ready to place his talent at itfhe services of those organising- meetings for aaiy charitable purpose. Mrs Mitchell and the two boys were to have leflt Coromandel to-day, provided the weather was more settled.
