The scheme of development works being carried out in this mine includes a low level, which is being put in, and a leader has been cut. In the level the locle 'is much larg-er than in the upper workings, it is expected that a fortnight's work will reach under the winze from which rich specimens were obtained. Gold is visible in the stone broken out and the country being- penetrated is most favourable for gold.
