WAIHI RETURN.

£41,231 FROM 12,956

The Waihi G.M. Company has established another record, the return for last month totalling £41,231 from 12,956 tons. This exceeds the previous record of February last, when 12,939 tons of ore yielded £41,090. This month's return makes a total for the first quarter of 1902 of £121,780, an increase of £29,112, upon the first three monlths' yield last year, although the „ tonnage of ore treated was less than for the first quarter in 1901. These results are due to the fact that better .grade ore has been met with, the average value per ton being £3 2/8, as againsft £2 7/6 last year. The total output of the Waihi mine to date is £2,096,292, of which £836,722 15/11 has been paid in dividends. .
