WAIHI.
WAIHI, Monday,
At the first meeting of the trustees of the Waihi Hospital Mr Benge was elected secretary pro tern., and was re-elected treasurer. The funds in the hands of the late Hospital Committee were formally handed over to the trustees. It was decided to write at once to Wellington' for the plans of the proposed hospital building. A donation of three guineas was thankfully received from Messrs I^pncock and Co. It is intended to establish a branch of the Auckland St. John Ambulance Classes in Waihi at an early date. The Rev. W. Gover, the newly-appoint-ed vicar of St. John's Church, Waihi, conducted the services on Sunday for the first time in that capacity. ■
