WHANGAREI RIFLES.
This company has ordered its new dress uniforms, which are to be the scarlet tunic of the No. 2 Battalion Auckland Infantry. ' The company is in a sound financial position. Four of its members—Privates E. G. Thomas, H. Skellern, D. Wallbank, and E. Wallbanlc—left for the front in the Whangarei quota of the Tenth Contingent, and their placets have been tilled with recruits.
