The Warden's Court met to-day. The following applicants were dealt, with:—.l. ,1. Macky. Harp of Tara Special Quartz Claim, Oliui, and Manaia Special Quartz Claim, at Ohui, adjourned; Big Beetle G-M. Company, permission to work Big Beetle Special Quartz Claim at Gumtown with two men for <> months, granted; Puru Consolidated, permission to work Russell Special Quartz Claim, Puru, with two .men for <> months, granted; Puru Consolidated, permission to work Russell Extended with two men for (i months, granted; Joseph Govan and John Gibb. Old Argosy Extended Special Quartz Claim, Tararu, granted; V. Turnbull, permission to work Cascade Special Quartz Claim, VVhangarnata, with two men for (J months, granted; Fame of Forruue, 6 months' protection for Fame of Fortune Special Quartz Claim, Thames. It was stated that the working capital was exhausted, and .Mr Kersey Cooper was in England endeavouring- to. hasten on negotiations whereby further capital would be available. Recommended to the .Minister. Maliara Royal, 0 months' protection for Mahara Royal and Shannon Special Quartz Claim, Tapu, 3 mouths" protection, granted; Fortuna oil Hauraki, permission to work Fortuna Special Quartz Claim at Thames with two men for 1 .months, granted; Broken Hills Company, permission to work the Broken Hills Special Quartz Claim at Waiomo with two men lor v' months, granted; Tairua Broken Hills, permission to work the Broken Hill at Tairua with three men for (i months, granted; .). M. Hirst, 6 mouths' protection for Shamrock and Otonui Consols -Special Quartz Claims at Thames, .Mr Whitaker being at present in England endeavouring to raise capital, adjourned; Now Whau, o' mon ins-protect ion, to enable negotiations to be completed for amalgamation with adjoining property, also to raise further capital, adjourned.
