Miss Stone and Madame Tsilka have been released by the brigands at Strumnitza, after close on six months' captivity, privation and hardship.

Our Drmedin correspondent telegraphs that Mr Asquith, secretary of the Christchurch Cycling- Clu:b, went South by this morning's express to meet Martin, and arrange for his New Zealand tour. Asquith ■will accompany Martin on Ms travels throughout New Zealand.
