AMUSEMENTS
DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY,
A change of programme was put on at the City Hall on Saturday evening last, and the attendance was large. The opening chprus, "Excelsior," was a very pleasing item. Bivroni and Selvini, the clever sketch artists, and the Coleman sisters, whose song, dance and acrobatic feats have been received with much appreciation, made their last appearance. In her songs, "The Girls BeMnd the Bar" and "Sally's Wedding Day," Miss Olive Lenton was decidedly successful, and had to appear to a number of recalls. Mdlle. Lucretia, for her excellent contributions, was encored heartily. The most popular contributor was probably Mr. Wallace King, whose singing was applauded enthusiastically. Miss Ida Clarkson sang "By the Fountain" with good effect. To-night Miss May Marlow, the clever serio and dancer, will make her reappearance, and on Monday next the Howard sisters and Mr. Ernest Fitts will be contributors at the City Hall.
