Last night the barque Empreza sailed lor Kopu to load timber for Adelaide. She will return lrom Adelaide with a cargo of salt. . The s.s. Star of Australia arrived at ik Melbourne yesterday. On completion of fig discharge she proceeds to Sydney and H thence on to Auckland.

Captain Fletcher, late of the scow Warrior, will take charge of the new vessel Eunice, to be launched in the course of a few weeks at Omaha for Mr A. B. Donald of Auckland.
