Yesterday evening the s.s. TJaviuni sailed for Fiji.
The s.s. Hawea sailed for the South Jast evening. iThe troopship Surrey is due here from .Wellington at about daylisrht to-morrow. The schooner Gisborne arived from Gisborne yesterday afternoon to load timber and general cargo for Bast Coast ports.
Last night the barque Empreza sailed lor Kopu to load timber for Adelaide. She will return lrom Adelaide with a cargo of salt. . The s.s. Star of Australia arrived at ik Melbourne yesterday. On completion of fig discharge she proceeds to Sydney and H thence on to Auckland.
Captain Fletcher, late of the scow Warrior, will take charge of the new vessel Eunice, to be launched in the course of a few weeks at Omaha for Mr A. B. Donald of Auckland.
