AN INTERESTING SUGGESTION.

SYDNEY, this day.
A correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" suggests the naming of the Federal capital "Chamberlain," in recognition of Mr. Chamberlain's services to Australia in inducing- England to side with America during the Spanish-American war, thus preventing Germany getting possession of the Philippines.
