The issue of "Brett's Auckland Alamanac and Diary" for next year is now on sale. It consists of a diary of fifty pages and over 200 pages of useful information, comprising- colonial and local statistics, postal, judicial and other information, and a comprehensive local directory. The tide tables, with' a key to allow of their being adapted for any place in the North Island, are accepted as the most accurate compiled, and are depended on by all coastal and other shipping. To those who have by exiperence learnt the usefulness of this publication it needs no recommendation; to anyone who is unacquainted with it we can safely recommend it as an invaluable business or family diary, and work of reference. It has already been stated that of late years the edition has been exhausted before the demand has been satisfied, and although this year an increased number have been printed early application at this office or at any stationer's is desirable to avoid disappointment
