SACRIFICE OF NEW HEBRIDES UNLIKELY

LONDON, January 7
Sir Charles Dilke, an accepted authority on colonial subjects, in an interview, states that he is convinced that the statement that France will get the New Hebrides for withdrawing from Newfoundland is untrue.
The' Newfoundland negotiations had long been suspended.
