THE CABMEN'S DISPUTE.

Since the dispute between the cabmen and the cab proprietors was sent on to the Court of Arbitration a conference has taken place between the representatives of the Union and the cab proprietors, with the result iihat 5 out of 7 of the employers have signed an agreement with the Union to accept an award of the Court drawn up on lines agreed upon by both sides. The case will come before the Court on Thursday morning.
