COMMANDANT ERASMUS.

LONDON, January 6
The General Erasmus recently captured is presumably the leader who commanded the Transvaal Stoats Artillery and co-operated with Commandant Lucas Meyer in the battle of Talana Hill in October, 1599, at the beginning of the war.
