"The Daily Mail" representative interviewed the Boer peace delegates in Holland. He found them willing to disctiss peace if the demand for unconditional surrender was withdrawn. The fighting leaders, especially the Free Staters, consider that in "the event of a cor.Terence the question of absolute independence ought to be approached with an open mind. They decline to negotiate >vith Lord Miiner.
