COROMANDEL WATER SUPPLY.

COROMANDEL, Monday
The work of constructing the dam for the Coromandel waterworks is to be started immediately. Mr Kean (contractor) has arrived nere. Teams and trucks were brought overland from the Thames' last week. Mr John Boylan, supervising engineer, arrived this evening, and it is expected that a start will be made tomorrow. The contract also includes the laying of mains, and wi_i doubtless give employment to a good number of men.
