WASHINGTON, September IS
Seventy thousand people viewed the body while lying at the Rotunda at Washington.
The town of Canton is draped
Thousands of personal friends awaited the coffin and showed the
deepest grief.
Mrs. McKinley collapsed tinder the universal marks of sympathy, and had to be carried to her carriage.
The body was viewed at the Courthouse for some hours, and was then removed to the President's late home.

WASHINGTON, September 19
Mrs. McKinley was too ill to attend the funeral of her husband at Canton this afternoon.
The Duke of Cornwall was represented at the interment.

LONDON, September 19
Special services were held in the chief cathedrals throughout the United Kingdom to-day in memory of McKinlev.
Earl Pembroke represented the King at the crowded service held at Westminster Abbey, amongst those present being Princess Louise.
