LONDON, September 11. Tyldesley has completed 3000 runs in first-class cricket this season.
[Tyldesley is the fourth player in the history of cricket to reach 3000 runs in a season, his predecessors being Ranjitsinhji (1899 and 1900), and C. B. Fry and Abel (1901). Tyldesley is a well - known Lancashire professional. He played for England against the Australians in 1899, and is one of the members of Maelaren's team which will shortly visit Australia.]
