Business was dull on the Exchange to-day, the only sale reported being Sailors Creek dredge at 0/3 cum div. Waihi Extended- were a shade firmer, being wanted at 2/4, but Tairua Broken Hills declined to buyers at 3/3, with sellers at 3/10. Welcome Jacks also eased in price, sellers being willing to accept lid as against. 1/1 yesterday. Chelmsfords had buyers at 1/S, and the same rate was offered for Four in Hand shares. In standard Hues the only change to-day was that buyers of Auckland Gas (old issue) advanced 2/6 per share.
