A bulletin issued at 9.30 last night states that the President's condition continues favourable.
WASHINGTON, September 9.
President McKinley this morning changed his position in bed without aid, without difficulty, and without pain, lie is taking milk and eggs as nourishment. The cooler weather that has set in favours his chances of recovery.
-. An official bulletin issued at three o'clock, this afternoon says the Pre-
sident is steadily improving', and is comfortable without pain. There are no unfavourable symptoms. H_a pulse is 113, his temperature 101, and his respiration 26.
