NEW ZEALAND NATIVE RIFLES.
Last evening the annual social of the New Zealand Native Bifle Volunteers, • Nos. 1 and 2 Companies, was given in St. George's Hall, and proved a very pleasant gathering. There was a very large attendance, and the dance proved very enjoyable. Amongst the guests were a number of officers of the Auckland volunteer companies, and some returned troopers. Sergeants Fricker and Campbell and Corporal Stead were Ms.C, and Mr. G. Stephens looked after the secretarial duties very satisfactorily. A strong committee worked well to ensure the enjoyment of all present.
