RUGBY FOOTBALL.
NEW SOUTH WALES V. AUCK-
LAND
The intercolonial football match, New South Wales v. Auckland, was played at Epsom this afternoon in fine weather. There was a large attendance. The teams were as under:
Auckland (blue and white): Fullback, W. McKenzie; three-quarters, M. Buckland. G. Smith, A. Asher; fiveeighth, E.- McGregor; half, H. Kiernan; wing forwards, S. McGregor and W. Derail; forwards, G. Tyler, C. Brady, McDuff, W. Cunningham, S. Smith, Bakewell, Rod. McGregor.
New South Wales (light blue): Fullback, E. J. McMahon; three-quar-ters, E. Hughes, S. Wickham, M. D. Barton, W. Lindsay; halves, W. Shortland, F. G. Finley; forwards, A. Beaumont," F. Underwood, A. Burden, L. Harrison, H. Judd, C. Shortland, Sam See and D. Lutge.
