NOTICE OF STRIKING RATES. Notice is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of Section 14 of the. "Road Boards Act, 1882." and of the "Rating Act, 1594." and also of Section 28 of the "Hospital and Charitable Aid Institutions Act, 1885," and amendments chereof, the Avondale Road Board will at its next meeting to be held on WEDNESDAY, the 4th day of September next, strike and levy a General Rate of three farthings in the £, and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of one eighth of a penny in the £ on all rateable property in the district, for the year commencing Ist dny of April, 1901; the said rates to become due and payable, in one sum,.on the 23rd day of September, 1901, at the residence of Mr F.
