A concert in aid of the New Organ Fund for the Mt. Eden Babptist Church will be given by the Tabernacle choir on Wednesday evening next. We have been shown by Mr Thos. Kelly, plasterer, of Newton Road, an egg, accompanied by the following 'statement: "Egg given to J. Humphries, Arch Hill, by Mr Thos. Kelly, August, 1890, to see how long it would keep fresh." The egg was boiled on August 14, 1901, and was very much like the ordinary "pickled egg" of a few months old. Mr Kelly is willing to give any information, on the subject to those who communicate with him.
