AUCKLAND V. WELLINGTON,
The following team has been chosen to represent Auckland in the match against Wellington, to be playedA in the Domain cricket ground on Saturday next, the 24th: Kober, Sawbridge. Wright, Meldrum, F. and H. Golclie^ Yates, Cave, Heather, Bradstock and Richards. EmergenciesBurgess, Wilkinson, and Clarke. The above players are requested to go into training during the week. Any Association players who are able to obtain the necessary leave to represent Auckland at the tournament to be held in Dunedin are requested to forward their names to "Association," p.o. box 348, before Wednesday next.
The monthly meeting of the Auckland University Music Students' Association was held in the College on Saturday evening. There was a crowded attendance of members and their friends. Dr. Thomas (President of the Association) presided. The following programme was contributed by the members: Duet (for the piano), "Sonata in D" (Mozart), Miss E. Webb and Dr. Thomas; song, "Daddy," Miss Lily Thomson; quartette (Goderoi), Miss Boulton, Miss Laing, Dr. Thomas, Mr Martin; song, "Thy Love Hath Come Too Late" (words by F. E. Baume, LL.B., music by Dr. Thomas), Miss M. Laing; piano solo, "Mazurka" (Godard), Miss E. W Tebb; song, "David Singing Before Saul" (Bordese), Mr F. A. Clarke;" quartette, "Come Live With Me". (John Donne, 1600), Miss Boulton,' Miss Laing, Dr. Thomas, Mr Martin;, violin solo, "Romance, and Gavotte," "Mignon" (Sarsate), Miss Milly Peak. ~ , .
