WELLINGTON ROBBERIES

WELLINGTON, this day.
Griffiths' pawnbroker's shop in Courteney Place was broken into before daylight yesterday, and the windows were stripped of their contents, estimated by the proprietor to be worth £500. A retriever dog which was kept on the premises was found in a semi-stupefied condition, it is supposed from chloroforms The private house of Mrs Turner, in Upper Willisstreet, was also robbed to the extent of £20 worth of goods.
