Devonport Ferry shares changed hands to-day at 36/, and National Banks were wanted at 75/ ex div, but holders asked 77. Insurance stocks I had better inquiry, buyers of Nation* ] als advancing to 17/6, while 61/ was | offered for New Zealands, and 72/6 for South British shares. All Cial stocks had buyers, but the prices offered were not accepted. L.OB. timber shares were a shade firmer, being wanted a,t 31/% In mining stocks there was little alteration. Four-in-Hands sold at 2/, Barrier Reefs were wanted at 1/2, and buyers of Talismans advanced to 23/6.
