DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY.
The usual Saturday night audience assembled at the City Ilall on Saturday evening, when Dixs Gaiety Company presented an entirely new programme. The programme gave complete satisfaction, each of the performers being encored. The Haytors presented a new act, specially written for them, entitled "Desperation, or a R&ce for £500." The turn proved immensely popular, and in response to a determined encore the artists gave their table act. Mr Frank Yorke met with his usual reception, being obliged to appear four times. Miss Mollie Bentley also met with an enthusiastic welcome, and is evidently a favourite with the audience. Mr George Dean met with his usual success in his rendering of "On the Wire" and "Two Little Drummer Boys." Messrs Karl Brown, Jim Marion, Johnny Collins and Miss Anetta Bodin were all well received. Tonight the Worrall Sisters make their first appearance.
