WAIHI RETURN.
PRKVIOUS RECORDS ECLIPSED.
£30,452 PROM 11,878 TONS,
At, a time like the present, when little attention is being paid to mining shares, it is reassuring to find the Waihi Company's return for the jkisl month's operations i.s the largest ever yel obtained from that property for a four-weekly period. Slill more gratifying is it that the ore i.s improving in value, the average this time being over JC^i per ton. For the four weeks ending July 20th, 11,878 tons of ore were treated for a return of bullion worth £'M,4i>2. The next best return was for the four weeks ending May 27, when 12,481 tons yielded £33,339. It will therefore be seen that although this time 003 tons less ore were treated, the yield shows an increase of .1:3113. The total output to date has now readied Jo 1,740,527.
