CBy Telegraph.—Press Association.)
PALMERSTON NORTH, this day.
The dairying exhibition promoted by tl>e National Dairy Association opened in the Theatre Royal to-day. The exhibition is attracting considerable attention locally, besides having drawn visitors from all parts of the colony. It contains displays of some of the finest and most up-to-date dairying appliances and machinery, which are shown to the best advantage by exhibitors. Arrangement has been made for the exhibition to remain open until the 26th July, which will give the visitors the fullest opportunity of inspecting the exhibits. The dairy commissioner and Government experts have already arrived, while members of the Ministry and of Parliament are expected to be here this week. Great importance is attached to the exhibition and the conference, both of which should prove a great success.
