The intermediate level below Bull and party's old workings is now in a distance of seventy feel,. The reef shows decided improvement as driving progresses. Colours of gold have been met with from time to time, but in the last few feot of driving the reef i--making gold, colours being visible in the stone, and a gootl tail of gold was also obtained by dish tests. The reef is about eight inches (hick, being a line compact body of ore.
