THE SAILORS' HOME,
The Sailors' Hall was packed on Saturday night to listen to a programme provided by . the Excelsior Band of Hope. Mr Lee occupied the chair. The proceedings opened with a selection by the Band, and other items were given as follows: Song, Miss Gladding; recitation, Mr Newbold; piano, selection, Master Lee; recitation, Mr Pooley; duet, Hill and Moon; song, Miss Clark; chorus, full choir; recitation, Master Webb; solo, Miss Clark; piano duet, Misses Gladding and Pooley; chorus, full choir; recitation. Mr KeTrbold; pianoforte selection,' Miss Hodgson; chorus by lull'choir.
