COROMANDEL TROOPERS WELCOMED.

COROMANDEL, this day. Troopers Campbell and Hinton, of the Fifth Contingent, arrived home on Saturday evening, and were accorded a most enthusiastic reception. The volunteers, under Captain Kenrick and Lieut. Inder, paraded at the wharf on arrival of the steamers, and, headed by the band, escorted the returned warriors to the Caledonian Hall, where a formal reception was held, Troopers Campbell and Hinton being formally welcomed by Mr R. • McEwan, county chairman. Speeches were also delivered by Captain Kenrick, Lieut. Inder, and by tbe Revs. Mitchell, Harrison, and Norrie. Troopers Campbell ■ and Hinton re- * turned thanks for the hearty reception. There was a very large gathering, and throughout the proceedings the utmost enthusiasm prevailed. "
