MUSGROVE OPERA COMPANY.
Herr Benno Schenek, advance agent for Mr. George Musgrove's Opera Company, arrived by the s.s. Waikare last evening- to make arrangements for the opening in Auckland. The company is the largest organisation of the kind ever brought to New Zealand, and includes a double company of principals, with a large chorus and orchestra, while the scenery, costumes and accessories are those which won such highpraise fn Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane. The company conedudes the Brisbane season on &*tuiday next and open here on Monday week, July ll for an eighteen-nigh reason, Jving eight operas 'II Trovatore, "Carmen j™' n "Maritana," "Mignon,' Bohennan Girl," "Lohengrin," and lannnau ser." ___
