VILLAGES BURNED AND THE INHABITANTS KILLED.

LONDON, June 29

The "Times" Shanghai correspondent states that Manchurian refugees who have arrived at Chefoo report that the Shinking province is in a state of- insurrection, and that the rebels are pillaging in the country. All the villages round Mukden have been burnt and a hundred inhabitants killed. The Russian forces in the province are inadequate to cope with the rebels.
