FOOTBALL AND FISTICUFFS.
At the Police Court to-day two Jnen, named Louis Antridge and Henry Parker were charged witn having- on the 29th of June, at Beacfi Soad, Devonport, used behaviour, * Whereby a breach of the peace was occasioned. Mr. Cotter, who appeared for the accused, said the affair arose out of the football match on Saturday, City v. Graf ton. me two defendants were supporters oi the rival teams, and while discussing the match near the Flagstaff Hotel, the argument grew so warm that they came to blows. Sub-Inspectdr Mitchell said these were the facts oi the case. His Worship fined each oi theae militant barrackers 10/.
