POULTRY, PIGEON, AND CANARY SHOW.

The show held under the auspices of the Suburban Poultry Fanciers' Club at the Agricultural Hall was well patronised last evening, and also to-day. It will be again open tonight. Messrs. Tonar Bros.' black single-comb Orpington cock was adjudged the best bird in the show, and Mr. J. 11. Priestley's Minorca cockerel was named as the second best. Mr. ,]. Walker won special and cup for best Poland, first and special trophy for best, black red game bant inn, and first, and special for best rose-combed bantam. In pigeons he also won the champion trophy for best pigl'oll iv the show, in addition to fully 40 other first and special prizes. The energetic secretary, Mr. .1. M. Thomson, secured the cup for canaries with his dark-crested buff Norwich, which thus maintained its unbroken record, fie also secured the majority of points in the Norwich class, while Mr. T. Hanson was equally successful in Yorkshires and Cinnamons. Air. Nelson was most successful in Belgians and Scotch fancy.
