BRITAIN'S GREATNESS.
LONDON, June 27.
Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, Chancellor of the Exchequer, speaking at the Mansion House, disclaimed any feelings of pessimism. Britain, he said, was greater than ever, and capable of meeting and conquering any emergency.
