LONDON, June 130,
General Buller declares the campaign in Africa has shown want of accuracy in British rifle tire at short ranges, allowing for the escape of the enemy with insufficient punishment after positions had been gained.
Mr A. .7. Balfour, addi-essing- a meetof Conservative agents at Uolborn Restaurant, said Mr Bannerman's assertion that the war had been conducted barbarously was a scandalous and shocking statement, since no war had ever been conducted with equul humanity.
