WINS FOB SUBURBS, PONSONBY A
AND PARNELL.
Last Saturday was an ideal day for la croase, and the third series of matches for the charapion.sb.ix> passed off most successfully. What with la crasseui's and footballers the accommodation of the Domain was taxed U) its utmost capacity. The SuburbsPonsonby B match was allotted pride of position, ami was keenly contested, the former club by a small margin adding another win to its unbeaten record for this season. The Ponsonby A team beat <-\i\'.y Lynn rather easily, the latter team being without ihe services of three of its best men. Parnell secured its first win of the season by defeating .North Shore after a good struggle. Afternoon tea was provided by lady friends in the pavilion.
