Mr. 0. F. Sutherland, of Fiji, who has been engaged by the New Zealand Government to report upon the suitableness of this colony for growing tobacco, has sent in his report to the Agricultural Department. In. due course, no doubt, the report will be printed for general information, but we. understand that it is favourable to the opinion that many dintri«ts in New Zealand arc well adapted for tobacco-growing.
